 Job Description
 Title: Technician 2 (DAT - Main Operator) 2nd shift  
 Location: Lake Forest, CA
 Function: Manufacturing/Materials/Purchasing
 Product Area: Analytical Inst/Consumable Pro
 Job Number: ALLF10-014

 Responsibilities:  

    Responsible for manufacturing DAT product, Testcup, Teststik, Onsite, Cupkit, Oralab and Testcard. Main operator of TesTstik, TesTcup and Onsite Machines. Inspect, label, and package DAT products.
    Operate TesTstik, TesTcup, and Onsite Machines.
    Inspect cards, Package products, and perform work in-process production.
    Set up and operate automated and semi-automated machines.
    Perform manual assembly of products.
    Load parts into equipment manually (when required).
    Operate the glue station, combi 90-pad printer, seal cup 90 pad printer, desiccant station, and the packaging station of teststik machine.
    Package products on all DAT packaging machines.
    Operate DAT sonic welders and heat sealers.
    Perform rework of teststik products (when required), after rejected parts had been inspected properly.
    Assist with the cycle count program.
    Assist with the training of new associates in the assembly area.
    Assist with the inspection of products made by new employees.
    Follow GMP guidelines and complete Production Batch Records and Logs.
    Know and comply with safety policies and procedures.
    Basic knowledge of workplace safety including PPE use and reaction to emergencies and accidents.
    Complete all health and environmental safety training related to the job.
     

 Qualifications:  

    High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
    Mechanical background helpful but not mandatory.
    Must be able to read English to understand and follow department SOPs related to the job. Must be able to follow oral instructions in English.
    Must be able communicate effectively with co-workers.
