 Job Description
 Title: Field Service Engineer  
 Location: Northeast,
 Function: Technical Support
 Product Area: NMR Systems
 Job Number: JW-10-001

 Responsibilities:  

    - Install and service the most complex and advanced equipment with minimal technical assistance and without direct supervision.

    - Handle service-related customer problems and maintain customer confidence through technical expertise.

    - Sell service contracts to customers and assist in contract proposal and quote proparation under direction of the supervisor.

    - Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art products.

    - Perform on-site customer training.

    - Perform other related duties as assigned.

    - May be assigned to other geographical areas to assist in emergency situations.
     

 Qualifications:  

    - 2 years of electronics-related college education plus 6 yearss of related experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and relted experience.

    - Strong understanding of electronics circuitry including current state-of-the-art devices as well as ability to effectively troubleshoot the most complex systems.

    - Prior field service experience.

    - NMR experience preferred.
