Model VS C15 Component Leak Detector

The Varian, Inc. Model VS C15 Component Leak Detector is a modular leak-testing package that can be incorporated into any system that employs vacuum. It is intended for applications in which the leak-detector components are more or less permanently mounted to the system.

Today’s industrial systems are more compact than ever. The single enclosure of the VS C15 Leak Detector, which safely contains everything it needs to do the job, occupies 60% less space than competing systems. There are only two cables required: one for power and the other for communications.

The communications options are varied. An optional color touch-screen display is available for remotely showing all system status information and inputting all operating parameters. In addition, communication with the VS C15 is possible using serial, discrete I/O, and Ethernet-based Profinet®. Other interface options, such as DeviceNet and USB, will be made available when required.

The VS C15 Leak Detector incorporates Varian’s Contra-Flow™ vacuum design, which maximizes the protection of its components from contamination in industrial applications.

The only input power required is 24V DC. If that is not available in the system to which the leak detector is mounted, an external power supply is available.
