The CP-Sil 88 column has a very high polarity and a specific selectivity
for dioxins and dibenzofuran separations. The first 2.5m of the column
are left uncoated to avoid problems with solvent condensation when
using splitless injection techniques. For shortest analysis times
a series of thin-film coated columns was added which allow application
up to 270 °C in temperature programmed mode.
