Varian, the pioneer in
Salt Tolerant Cold Probe technology, now offers Salt Tolerance on
all Proton detected Cold Probes, introducing the new ST2 tube technology. With Salt Tolerance, you will
experience significant sensitivity gains over a
standard Cold Probe when working with salty samples.
All Varian Cold Probes can be equipped with the
Removable Cold Probe Accessory which enables the user to quickly take out the Cold Probe while still refrigerated
and replace it with any liquids or solids NMR probe.
Cryogenically Cooled Probes Deliver Hot Performance
Varian's Cold Probe product line offers unparalleled sample modality,
versatility, and NMR performance to solve a broad range of structural
characterization problems (see some biomolecular,
small molecule, and flow results). The Cold Probe is designed
with cryogenically cooled rf coils, preamplifier, Z-axis gradient,
2H lock, variable temperature control, and susceptibility corrected
coil designs that yield superior line shape, rf homogeneity, short
90-degree pulse width, and salt tolerance.
Performance
Cold Probes deliver incredible
sensitivity (up to 4X) compared to conventional room temperature
coil probes.
Versatility and Convenience
The Cold Probe's ability to accommodate a variety of sample modalities
creates an unusually versatile and easy-to-use probe that is compatible
with 3- and 5-mm NMR sample tubes or, alternatively, flow NMR applications
with the addition of the Cold
Probe IFC accessory and results.
