The Varian Lancer™ FPA1 camera is the
first infrared array detector designed for laboratory spectroscopy.
This camera provides the state of the art in spectrochemical
imaging. Data can be collected in either rapid-scan or step-scan
mode using a Varian FT-IR spectrometer.
The proprietary
new Focal Plane
Array, the heart of
the Lancer system
incorporates new
electronics in a
modern package
to give the best
performance in a
spectrochemical
imaging system.
Features
Different size FPA detectors to fit a variety of experiments.
High sensitivity detector
technology provides excellent
spectra on difficult samples in a matter of seconds.
Rapid data collection to conduct kinetics experiments.
Small
pixel size for: · Better uniformity
of response across the focal plane array. · Higher spatial resolution
across the array.
Modern FPA design to eliminate
problems with thermal
delamination.
Designed to provide uniform response across the sample.
Dual field of view optics on the UMA 600 provides either
survey mode or high spatial resolution mode.
Snapshot readout electronics improve efficiency and duty
cycle.
Fully integrated software provides instrument control
and data analysis in one seamless, easy to use package.
