Diffuse Reflectance accessory
For Cary 1, 3, 100 and 300 instruments
The Labsphere DRA-CA-30I is a 70 mm diameter DRA which fits inside
the sample compartment of a Cary 100 or Cary 300 instrument. Coated
with Spectralon (PTFE), this accessory offers flexibility when performing
both reflectance and transmittance measurements. The DRA CA-30I
is ideal for situations where an inexpensive, but high performance
integrating sphere, is required for samples which will fit inside
the sample compartment (approx. 150 mm diameter maximum). Measurements
of Color, Sun protection factor, liquids in cuvettes etc are all
possible with the DRA-CA-30I.
The DRA CA-30I is easily changed between transmittance and reflectance
measurements and allows the measurement of both Diffuse-only and
Total reflectance (a Spectralon reference plate is provided with
each accessory along with an 8° wedge to allow for Total reflectance
measurements).
The Labsphere CA-30I DRA does not need an Extended Sample Compartment
accessory for measuring reflectance of samples which have a thickness
of <25 mm. However, the extended
sample compartment will be needed for reflectance measurements
of samples which have a thickness >25 mm <45 mm.
