Liquids NMR Probes
Indirect Detection Probes
The greatest high frequency nuclei sensitivity

Triple Resonance
Probes:
The premier probe for biomolecular applications, triple resonance
indirect detection probes are available as 1H{13C/15N},
typically for the analysis of proteins and 1H{13C/31P}
for nucleic acid applications. Inner coil optimized for 1H
or 1H-19F sensitivity (depending on probe
model) and 2H decoupling. Outer coil is optimized for
short x channel 90º pulse widths and excellent rf homogeneity.
Triple resonance probes are available optimized for samples ranging
in size from 1.7 to 8mm depending on 1H frequency.

Penta Probes:
Designed for versatility in biomolecular applications, Penta probes
are indirect detection probes that are factory tuned to allow decoupling
of up to four different nuclei including 2H lock. The
inner coil is optimized for 1H sensitivity with excellent
rf homogeniety, 31P and 2H decoupling. The
outer coil is optimized for short 13C and 15N
90º pulse widths and excellent rf homogeneity. The Penta probe
is the ideal single probe for both protein and nucleic acid research
applications.

Tunable Triple
Probes:
These triple resonance indirect detection probes provide a tunable
decoupling channel that is ideal for double and triple resonance
experiments that need to combine the experimental functionality
of both the two channel 1H{X} and three channel 1H{15N,13C}
or 1H{13C,31P}indirect detection
probes in a single probe. The inner coil is optimized for 1H
sensitivity with excellent rf homogeneity and 13C or
31P (depending on probe model) and 2H decoupling.
The outer coil is tunable from 15N to 31P
and optimized for short 90º pulse widths and excellent rf homogeneity.
Tunable triple probes are available in 1H{13C/
X} or 1H{31P/X} configurations that are optimized
for a broad range of biomolecular and chemical applications.

Indirect Detection
Probes:
Indirect detection probes offer impressive 1H sensitivity
for inverse detected experiments and have the capability for decoupling
over the broadband frequency range. The inner coil is tuned to 1H
or tunable from 1H - 19F (depending on probe
model), and outer coil is tunable over the frequency range (15N
- 31P). Available in sample size options ranging from
1.7 to 8mm depending on 1H frequency of the system.

1H and 19F Observe/Decouple
Probes:
1H and 19F probes are ideal for experiments
requiring detection of 1H or 19F and broadband
decoupling of 19F or 1H. Unique design offers
excellent rf homogeneity for both frequencies and very short 90º
decoupling pulse widths.

gH{X} Nano Probes:
Indirect Detection pulsed field gradient Nano 1H{X} probes
represent a proprietary combination of Varian high resolution and
magic angle spinning probe technologies. The gH{X} Nano probe is
the ideal choice to satisfy the needs for high resolution 1H
spectra of heterogeneous samples. The indirect detect pulsed field
gradient Nano probe will help you characterize small quantities
of plant or animal tissues, resins, and other heterogeneous samples.

IFC Flow Probes:
These Interchangeable Flow Cell probes are capable of indirect detection
triple resonance experiments and allow NMR measurements in flow
applications such as VAST or hyphenated techniques like LC-NMR,
and LC-NMR-MS. The IFC probe is available in a variety of flow cell
sizes and can be converted by the user from flow to tube mode in
minutes. The inner coil is tuned to 1H for optimum sensitivity
and the outer coil is simultaneously tuned to 13C and
15N with individual rf ports for each nucleus.
